6210 Meeting Reflection #1
Team: Grow Dawgs
Date: Oct 13th, 2005
At the meeting I witnessed the team was finalizing their
flowcharts of how the user will navigate through the program.
-Brandy was also working on "style sheets", which
I never heard of until then. "Style sheets" are
the list of how everything is going to be formatted, they
make sure the program has a common look and feel.
-The team then walked through the flowchart, and a few minor
changes needed to be made.
- I also learned that getting assessments from the client
can be a time consuming process. Overall the group said they
had a good relationship with the client.
6210 Meeting Reflection # 2
Team: iDesign
Date: Oct 20th, 2005
-Anika is the lead instructional designer and told me as
an ID she likes to have her stroyboards extremely detailed.
They should be almost like a prototype because it reduces
the number of questions when you hand it over to the designer
to code.
-The team designed three storyboards for the client, one for
the children, teens, and then adults.
- I thought this was a good idea, when the team was going
over storyboards any changes that needed to be made were highlighted
in the word document, so someone could easily go back and
change it.
- When talking about getting content from the client the team
said they had to find a lot of it themselves, and for some
things the client only gave them URL's to look at.
-They then went over their progress thus far, and revised
their schedule based on that.
